TV personality Sharelle Rosado recently appeared for an interview with YouTuber Carlos King and shared why she split with her ex-fiancé and former NFL star, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. The video was uploaded on King’s self-titled channel on January 2.

In it, Sharelle claimed Chad was allegedly disloyal in the relationship.

“When we were together, there was some… going on and I found out about it. Texting other women… I found out about it and I was like, ‘You know who I am?’ Like, I know who you are, I’mma respect what you have but it is what it is and nobody’s perfect,” Rosado mentioned.

The 37-year-old continued:

“I just feel like, when things happen, be honest about it. It shouldn’t lead to that point of how I’m finding out. Yes, I went through the phone and that’s how I found out.”

In the wake of this now-viral revelation, the internet is now having varied reactions. For instance, Instagram user @therealdemithegoddess__ commented on The Jasmine Brand’s repost of the interview clip.

The netizen was seemingly referring to Sharelle Rosado admitting during her Humble Baddies podcast appearance in September 2024 that she “cheated” on her ex-husband with Ochocinco.

Many people took to the social networking site X to share similar reactions about Sharelle Rosado’s latest remarks.

“She tryna see if she lit without him before she decides to come back or not,” a person wrote.

About being disloyal to her former husband with Ochocinco, Sharelle Rosado shared during September’s podcast how she grew “emotionally” and “physically attached” to the former wide receiver while still being married.

“I actually I cheated on my ex-husband with Chad. I wouldn’t say cheat because I mentally checked out. I was done… At the age I’m at now, I felt like it was wrong because I should have ended that relationship fully,” she noted.

The Allure Realty founder and CEO added:

“I was younger and at that time I was focused on myself and trying to get over everything that I went through and if I would go back I probably wouldn’t have done what I did but it happened. I can’t go back and change it.”

Before that in August 2024, Sharelle claimed her ex-husband (whose identity remains undisclosed) also cheated on her with her former friend.

Exploring Sharelle Rosado’s latest comments on her relationship with Ochocinco

During her latest conversation with Carlos King on his Reality with the King podcast, Sharelle Rosado claimed that she broke up with her former fiancé Ochocinco in October 2024 as he was not monogamous.

She refuted the rumors that she caught Chad cheating on her in their house on the CCTV footage, claiming, “That’s not true.”

Sharelle Rosado added that she checked his phone and saw “women everywhere.”

“They’re going to throw themselves at him because of who he is. Chad is a fine a*s man. Like, he’s very good-looking,” Sharelle mentioned.

However, she denied giving details about what exactly she found on his phone and denied the rumor that he gave her an STD.

“For everyone who was asking, no he did not give me anything,” she clarified.

When asked what she meant when she told a fan that she might “catch” something by sliding into Ochocinco’s DMs, she said:

I was saying was everybody trying to jump on deck and everything else, be careful ’cause you might catch something.”

Sharelle Rosado admitted that she shouldn’t have made the comment but was “p*ssed” at that moment. She also called Ochocinco her “family,” adding, she wasn’t there to “judge” him.

“I respect Chad and at the end of the day, we're still a family, no matter what things happen. Nobody's perfect and I'm not here to judge him. I've had infidelity issues. It happened to me. I did it to someone. I've done it to somebody in my younger days,” the 'Selling Tampa' star shared.

Meanwhile, Chad Johnson offered Page Six an unusual response in the wake of Sharelle Rosado’s comments. He said how he “saved 15% by switching my insurance carrier to Geico.” He also told Live Bitez during an Instagram Live that Sharelle “left” him while he was on his “season.”

Sharelle Rosado and Ochocinco began dating in the summer of 2020 and confirmed their relationship in November of that year. Their daughter Serenity “Hurricane” Paula was born in January 2022. The following year, the duo got engaged and broke up in October last year.

“Chad and I are no longer together please stop tagging us. He is a free man, ladies,” Rosado wrote at the time.

Ochocinco also addressed the public breakup on his Nightcap podcast. He claimed being blocked by Sharelle Rosado and called it one of the many challenges of a relationship.
