"I have trouble regulating my emotions"— Trisha Paytas talks about mental health on Rainn Wilson's podcast
Trisha Paytas made an appearance on Rainn Wilson's Soul Boom podcast on October 1, 2024, where the internet personality spoke about experiencing a psychotic break in 2021 and her mental health.
Talking about the psychotic break she underwent in September 2021, Trisha said that the clip of the same has been deleted now. At that time, she went on X, sobbing and screaming, saying she couldn't breathe. She also recalled shouting at people to leave her alone in the video she posted during her breakdown.
Trisha's incident led Rainn Wilson to question what made her go online and post about her mental breakdown, asking if posting such content resulted in financial gain. She said that she might've done it for money in the past, but in this incident, she chose X because the content couldn't be monetized, indicating that she didn't upload that for money.
Additionally, Trisha Paytas told Rainn Wilson about having borderline personality disorder, stating:
“I have trouble regulating my emotions. I thought relationships were more intense than they were. I would have these fantasies, but also, like, I would dissociate at the same time. So there was delusion, disassociation, and a lot happening.”
In other news, on June 4, 2024, Trisha shared via an Instagram post that she and her husband, Moses Hacmon, welcomed their second baby on May 24, 2024. The post featured multiple photos of Trisha and her newborn daughter and announced the baby's name, Elvis Paytas-Hacmon.
