The latest episode of TLC’s Sister Wives continued its recent trend of intense drama as the season slowly edges toward a close. Kody Brown has been struggling to keep his family together in recent episodes after his longstanding fight with Christine reached a boiling point.

Season 18 episode 10 of Sister Wives saw a range of arguments and confrontations between various members of the Brown family. The show was headlined by one of Kody’s wives, Janelle, deciding to move away from the family residence. Janelle has been separated from Kody since December 2022 but continued staying with the family due to the children.

Her fight and subsequent decision to move out was one of several dramatic incidents in Sister Wives’ latest episode.

Janelle decides to move away from the Brown family

Christine Brown was initially responsible for convincing Janelle to leave the residence. In recent episodes, she has been talking about her desire to move on and make a fresh start with her business. However, despite previously being married to Kody twice, it appears as though it is only now that she is ready to move away.

As the family had gotten together to celebrate Easter, Janelle was initially seen talking about moving to Utah. However, she claimed that she was reluctant due to the 12 children and their needs. However, Janelle went on to claim that she did not miss her family when she was away and was intent on having a peaceful life after completely separating from Kody.

Of course, this is not the first time Janelle has sought to leave permanently. Tune in to further episodes of Sister Wives, as they should shed more light on whether she decides to go through with her decision.

Christine expresses concern for Janelle

Despite Christine being of the opinion that Janelle should move out, she was concerned about her mental health and overall well-being. Christine claimed she did not expect Janelle to say that she did not miss Kody or the rest of the family during her time away.

Janelle had stated that she was struggling “a little bit” because she no longer missed Kody. She also revealed that she was happy that her ex-husband did not visit her back in May when she had visited her family in Arizona.

Christine, on the other hand, appeared concerned. She claimed that while Janelle seemed content, she might not react in the best of ways when she leaves. Regardless, both Christine and Janelle were happy with the latter’s decision to leave, even though it is not certain, as things stand.

Janelle and Christine never wanted Kody to be monogamous

While Kody Brown has recently claimed that his going monogamous for Christine is a positive thing for their relationship and the family, both Janelle and Christine have been concerned. They complained about the changing family dynamics in the most recent episode, as Christine explained that Kody did not want to change his decision.

"I tell him and I talk to him, but I don’t think he’s tracking."

Despite her intention to leave Kody and the house, Janelle claimed that she would have agreed, if she cared for Kody anymore.

"If I cared, it would bother me. But I don’t care. I really don’t."

As the events and the conversations suggest, Sister Wives has continued to be utterly dramatic in recent episodes. It seems as if one of the reasons why Janelle left Kody was his intention to be monogamous. The Arizona native might have known that he planned to be in a committed relationship with Christine, something even Christine does not seem happy about.

Subsequent episodes of Sister Wives should shed some light on the family’s future and can be watched every Sunday on TLC at 10 pm ET.
