Star Wars: The Bad Batch is an animated series and a spin-off of the adored animated series, The Clone Wars. Set in the aftermath of the Clone Wars, the series follows a squad of elite special forces clones, known as the Bad Batch, as they take on daring new missions in the galaxy.
What is the Bad Batch about?
The Bad Batch Season 2 chronicles the antics of Clone Force 99, a ragtag gang of misfits left over from the Clone Wars who adopt a young clone girl named Omega. It is a Star Wars spin-off set in a timeline following the events of the original trilogy. The story follows the exploits of the "Bad Batch," a squad of clone troopers that make up a distinctive team of outcasts and outsiders, each with special and unique skills.
Every member of Clone Force 99 is flawed in some manner; genetically altered to be better at one aspect of battle, from physical strength to accurate sniping, they all offer something to the table. The series will include certain Clone Wars characters as well as new characters and settings. In a time of war and struggle, The Bad Batch tackles the themes of family, loyalty, and identity.
Who voices the characters in The Bad Batch?
Disney chose to add another spinoff series to the Star Wars universe. The series takes a closer look at a batch of clone troopers with genetic defects this time around in The Bad Batch.
