Stars on Mars season 1 returns with a brand new episode this week. In the upcoming segment, Lance Armstrong and Ariel Winter clash, resulting in Lance volunteering to quit the show.

"Four new celebs land on Mars amidst a micro-meteorite shower; the meteors punctured the walls of the hab, leaving 11 celebronauts to work together to plug the holes until the hab can be fixed."

What to expect from the upcoming episode of Stars on Mars season 1

The upcoming episode of Stars on Mars season 1, which is set to air on Monday, July 17, will feature four new celebrities as they set foot in the hab. However, these celebrities, along with one current contestant, aren’t happy with Ariel Winter.

In a promo uploaded to social media, Lance Armstrong shares his views about trans people in sports which results in an argument between him and the Modern Family actress.

Ariel was not the only one who disagreed with Lance in last week’s episode over his controversial views, but in the upcoming episode, he tells the actress that he doesn’t want drama.

"Ariel, let me make this really simple: I don’t need the drama. I busted my a** for nine days, I’m gonna bust my a** on the 10th day, and I’m going to auto-select myself to leave."

While Ariel Winter doesn't respond, RHOA star Porsha Williams steps in and asks him what he means. The Stars on Mars contestant tells her that he’s going to “opt-out” of the show and tells them that it will be fine since they have great new people.

Porsha tells him that nobody is going to give up and that she’s tired of people giving up because it takes the fun out of the experience. She adds that she thought that they were having fun because according to her everyone who was on Mars wants to be there.

"We’re gonna finish today and we’ll handle tomorrow when it comes"

Lance Armstrong states that he’s not going to live in the hab for another day with certain people, which was probably directed towards Ariel.

In another clip, the contestants return after rescuing four brand new celebrities who are set to compete on Stars on Mars along with the current celebrities. Adam Rippon greets the the new stars and tells the cameras that the next contestants are welcomed. He also notes that it would be tough for them to understand how the rest of the contestants lived and bonded with each other for the past nine years.

While Adam tries to get their attention while talking through the mic, they were too excited to listen. Ariel stepped in and asks them to quiet down so they can move the process along and get inside the hab, which didn't sit well with all the newcomers.

The celebrities who are joining the cast include Andy Richter, Ashley Laconetti, Paul Pierre, and Cat Cora.

The upcoming episode of Stars on Mars season 1 will be out on Monday, July 17, at 8 pm ET on Fox.
