A viral video titled "Gen Z Boss and a Mini" posted by tbh skincare on July 9 is being called cringe-worthy. The video shows a group of women dancing and chanting in an office, following the TikTok trend "Boots and a Slick Back Bun," where participants dance and sing about their characteristics. The video features tbh skincare employees doing the same.

The video starts with a woman sporting a mini-skirt dancing while everyone around her chants 'Gen Z Boss and a mini' multiple times. Five more women followed up with their defining characteristics as well. The rest of the tune went, with each verse repeated multiple times:

"Itty Bitty Titties and a Bob/ 5'3 and an Attitude/ Secret product and a trench/ New Frank Green and a sneaky link/ Fake tan hands and a hoop,"

The video immediately went viral on all social media platforms and people did not take too well to it. Many called the video, which had over 5.4 million views on Instagram 'cringe'.

Some people who randomly came across the video due to its popularity had no idea what was going on in it. A few even saw the skincare company's antics and compared them to seventh-grade school kids.

A few social media users even talked about how people going through unemployment might feel when they see such a video. Here are a few X reactions to the video:

"I have no idea what’s going on.", revealed one X user.
"there’s people out here applying for 100 jobs per day and not hearing back from anyone.. then you see this lol", noted a second user.
"Some women never outgrow seventh grade.", thought another user.
"This one of the most cringe things I’ve ever watched", said yet another user.

A few women did support the video and noted that this was just "girls doing girl stuff" and called it "cute". However, the fraction of supporters was significantly lower than the critics. Here are a few reactions in this regard:

"This is just girls doing girl stuff. We just didn't used to film it and put it online.", noted one X user.
"Idk but this is cute", added another user.
"Why is everyone getting offended?", asked one curious X user.
"Oh my God, not women having fun. The horror, the absolute fcking horror. 😂", said one user sarcastically.

The company released a sequel to the Gen Z Boss and a Mini video featuring the hate comments they received as chants. This time the video started with the group ironically chanting "Gender pay gap, bring it back".
