Season one of The Bear wraps up by responding to a few questions about Carmy's decision on The Original Beef and Mikey's past while at the same time teasing Carmy about a new future.

NOTE: SPOILERS AHEAD

The American comedy-drama TV series The Bear, created by Christopher Storer, is a fast-paced series on the food industry and how difficult it is to manage a small business, that seems definitely a recipe for success. One great thing about "The Bear" is that it doesn't waste any time. The entire cast for The Bear season 1 is led by Jeremy Allen White in the role of Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto.

Carmy is a highly talented young chef who steps down from the best restaurant in the world to take over the family sandwich shop in Chicago. The past story is crisp and magnificently instilled with the emotions of the current story. The quick rhythm of the sandwich shop is used to emphasize the tensions between the characters. On the whole, it is an admirably done spectacle, with probably the only fault being the one that made it so good is that some places were too fast.

Even if it is not enough to withdraw from the show, it brings a feeling of irritation to the spectator when the challenge is the rhythm of the story rather than the story itself. But this is a pardonable defect, which does not bother us too much, since we have not seen such content for a long time.

What about the money in the tomato cans?

Having read Mikey's suicide letter and taken the family recipe - recommend smaller cans of tomato paste because they are better - Carmy decides to put spaghetti in the family dinner. So he opened a tin can of tomatoes in order to prepare the staff meal. He was stunned to find a roll of hundreds of dollars stashed inside. Realizing that Mikey had sent him a message, Carmy made the other chefs open all the tins. And here, bundles were hidden in each of them. While the team was being sprinkled with tomato juice, the money was piling up until the amount Cicero lent Mikey.

Carmy had found documents indicating that Mikey was paying KBL Electric monthly, but no one had heard of the mystery company. We now have an overview of KBL on the lids of the tomato boxes. Mikey had not squandered the money, he had locked it in tin cans, away from the taxes. Most professional kitchens are equipped with an electrical can-seamer. Sounded like Mikey was telling Cicero the truth. He was after money to sell the restaurant to Carmy.

It took eight episodes to get Stubborn Carmy to test the recipe. Now, he was ready to face the future along with his team. While they were huddling in the spaghetti, all smiling, Carmy had a vision of Mikey smiling at him.

Why is Carmy shutting down the original beef at last?

The very end of season one of The Bear includes a major move by Carmy, as he finally decides it's time to shut down The Original Beef. His arc of character all through the first season sees him battling with being in that environment and trying to right Mikey's wrongs.

With the bank and the taxman potentially coming to his sister's house because she's a co-signatory for The Original Beef, she drives him to shut down The Original Beef. After Carmy read Mikey's letter and found the money that will allow the Chicago mafia to pull through like Sopranos' twist, Carmy finally thinks this is a perfect time to close the restaurant. This decision is made easier by the fact that he has the support of his other chefs and numerous ideas to create a new restaurant.

Is there going to be Season Two of the Bear?

Fortunately, yes indeed, around 2023. This final was broadcast in June in the United States and within a month, FX makers confirmed the renewal of The Bear. Christopher Storer, the creator, and co-showrunner of the series has hinted that season two will follow the opening of the new restaurant by Carmy, his power conflicts with Sydney and Richie, and his money issues.
