Earlier this month, an alleged memoir of late model and actress Kim Porter was released online. Titled, KIM'S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, from the Other Side..., the book was unveiled on Amazon on September 6. It contains alleged explicit accounts of Kim Porter’s relationship with her ex-partner Sean “Diddy” Combs, including abuse accusations.

Meanwhile, Diddy himself was arrested by federal agents on September 16 on three felony charges including racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. In the wake of his arrest, the alleged memoir of Kim Porter became the number 1 book on Amazon’s Literature & Fiction list.

On Tuesday, September 24, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ four children issued a joint statement via Instagram addressing the “many hurtful and false rumors” surrounding their parents and denying about any such book. Christian “King” Combs, 26, twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs, 17, and 33-year-old Quincy Brown (Porter’s eldest child with singer-songwriter Al B. Sure! who Diddy raised as his own son) wrote:

"Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world. And nothing has been the same since she passed. While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established."

The four siblings further mentioned how there was “no foul play” contrary to the rumors and asked everyone to respect their “request for peace” as they continued to “cope” with Kim Porter’s death every day.

For those unaware, Kim Porter passed away in November 2018 from lobar pneumonia. However, ever since then, many have speculated that Diddy was allegedly involved in her demise.

Exploring the statement from Kim Porter's children amid her alleged memoir release in detail

On Tuesday, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ kids took to social media and made a lengthy statement in the wake of their father’s arrest and the release of their mother’s alleged memoir. They began by writing how they felt the “need to speak out” following many “false” and “hurtful” rumors circulating about Kim Porter’s “tragic passing” as well as her on-again-off-again relationship with Diddy from 1990 to 2007.

“Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not. And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not her friend. Nor do they have her best interests at heart,” the Instagram post read.

They went on to mention how “grief is a lifelong process” as they continued to cope with Kim Porter’s untimely passing and assured that there was “no foul play” involved and that the cause of her demise has long been “established.”

“We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of what has been the most tragic event of our lives. Our mother should be remembered for the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories,” the statement further noted.

Christian, Quincy, Jessie, and D’Lila also requested people to “respect” their late mother and “hold her legacy in high regard” observing that it is the only thing she “deserved.” They also shared their “love” for Kim Porter and shared how much they missed her, and wished that she rested in peace.

Meanwhile, the 58-page alleged memoir with Porter’s photo on its cover is said to be penned under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood on behalf of the late actress-model. However, Millwood has been identified as Chris Todd, whose real name is Todd Guzze.

Notably, Sean Combs’ attorney Erica Wolf told People Magazine on Tuesday that KIM'S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, from the Other Side... is “fake,” “offensive” and “a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy.”

"Chris Todd (the publisher) has no respect for Ms. Porter or her family, who deserve better. Unlike the fabrications in his sickening 'memoir,' it is an established fact that Ms. Porter died of natural causes. May she rest in peace,” the lawyer added.

Chris Todd also told Rolling Stone that he intended to “just put it out there” and admitted that even though the whole book might not be true, 80 percent of it is, and that is “real enough” for him.

Notably, in late July, Kim Porter’s close friend Eboni Elektra also refuted the tell-all-memoir before it was officially released on Amazon. At the time, RadarOnline unveiled a 40-page-long alleged memoir claiming they received its contents from a source who was reportedly close to the late model-actress.

Earlier this week, Al B. Sure, Porter’s former partner and Quincy’s biological father also called the book a “fake unauthorized edit” and warned those involved of possible legal consequences from Kim’s family.
