Beyoncé performed at the NFL Christmas Gameday halftime show on Netflix on December 25, 2024, in her hometown of Houston, Texas. She performed songs from her 2024 album Cowboy Carter, with visuals like riding horseback while singing 16 Carriages.

Her performance soon went viral due to speculation of a satanic undertone. Many on X claimed that she wore a devil-horned medallion and allegedly made the devil horn sign with her hands during the show.

"Beyoncé throwing them devil horns right in our face lmao," one said.
"Wow Beyoncé just throwing out the devil horns during the half time show!" an X user commented.
"BEYONCE NOT EVEN TRYING TO HIDE IT SHE THREW UP DEVIL HORNS SMH" another X user mentioned.
"Crazy Beyonce performing Halftime at Ravens vs Texans wearing a devil horned medallion that says "Cowboy Carter" on it while her husband is being questioned about Diddy.. . American theme just like Kendricks Superbowl commercial. 🧐" an internet user stated.
"Beyoncé throwing up them devil horns like always, smh get these devil worshippers off the screen" another internet user said.

Additionally, some netizens speculated that the devil horn symbol was related to the Illuminati or promoting evil.

"Beyonce devil symbolism illuminati s**t. Oh we are so back" an X user tweeted.
"Promoting the devil on Jesus’s birthday is wild work…. Everybody saw those horns Beyoncé threw up…." a netizen commented.
"Beyoncé with the Satanic horns during her ritual. They don't hide their s**t anymore. Post Malone looks sick. #NFL" another netizen mentioned.

Beyoncé pokes fun at Netflix ahead of NFL Christmas Gameday halftime performance

Ahead of her performance at the NFL Christmas Gameday halftime, Beyoncé took to X on December 24, 2024, posting a video of her playing TEXAS HOLD EM on a banjo. In the video, the camera pans slowly toward Queen Bey's face, and as she removes her glasses, a buffering sign appears.

This bit was an indirect dig at the buffering issues faced by the audience during the Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight. Netflix also responded to Queen Bey's video by commenting:

"now hold on..."

There were no reports of streaming issues on Netflix during Queen Bey's halftime performance. One of the highlights of the singer's performance was that her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, joined her on stage and danced to several songs. At one point, Blue Ivy also danced hand-in-hand with her mother.

Apart from dancing with her daughter on stage, Queen Bey sang Jolene sitting on the back of a car seat and addressed the audience before singing Texas Hold Em' by saying:

“I’m so honored to be in Texas right now. It’s only right that we do ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ for the first time in Houston, Texas on Christmas. Y’all help me sing!”

Toward the end of her performance, Queen Bey wished the audience a Merry Christmas and pointed toward a banner on the ground, which unfurled to read the word "Bang."

During her performance at the NFL Christmas Gameday on Netflix, Queen Bey was joined by Brittney Spencer, Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Roberts to sing Blackbird. American singer Shaboozey also made an appearance in Queen Bey's show, singing his verse on Sweet Honey Buckin'.
