5) Ezaki Hikaru (Kep1er)

Hikaru, a Japanese singer under Avex Artist Academy, is 18-years-old and was born on March 12, 2004. She used to be a member of the +GANG. She was a member of the girl group Kep1er after placing seventh on Mnet's reality survival show Girls Planet 999.

Moreover, Gaon announced on March 10, 2022 that Kep1er's debut mini album FIRST IMPACT had been certified platinum alongside ITZY's mini album Not Shy. Albums are certified platinum by Gaon Chart after 250,000 sales, while songs are certified platinum after 100 million streams or 2.5 million downloads.


4) Rei (IVE)

Rei is a Starship Entertainment rapper and singer from Japan. Since 2021, she has been a member of the girl group IVE. The 18-year-old singer was born in Anan, Tokushima, Japan, on February 3, 2004.

Furthermore, Bonajour, an organic skincare brand, introduced Rei as a new muse and brand ambassador on March 2, 2022 which is remarkable as a solo activity from a member of a rookie girl group.

Moreover, IVE has officially crossed the 100 million mark on YouTube with a music video for their debut single, Eleven. On March 8, 2022, their first music video achieved this benchmark.


3) Shotaro (NCT, NCT U)

Osaki Shotaro, a 21-year-old singer from Kanagawa, Japan, has been a member of the K-Pop groups NCT and NCT U since 2020.

Furthermore, the Billboard World Albums chart for the week of March 12 has been released and NCT's latest studio album Universe remained at No. 6 for the 11th week in a row, while NCT 127's Sticker climbed to No. 7 for the 24th week in a row.


2) Yuta (NCT)

Yuta Nakamoto, also known as Yuta, was born in Kadoma, Kansai District, Osaka, Japan, on October 26, 1995. He is a Japanese singer and rapper signed to SM Entertainment. He's a member of the boy group NCT, which stands for Neo Culture Technology, as well as the sub-unit NCT 127.

Yuta Nakamoto decided to fly from Osaka to Seoul in 2012 on a one-way ticket, determined to dive into the world of Korean music, which was garnering worldwide recognition at the time. He passed the audition held by SM Entertainment, a top South Korean entertainment company that represents globally famous pop music artists.

Nakamoto, presently renowned by his stage name Yuta, has been SM Entertainment's first Japanese trainee artist.

Giselle, born in Japan on October 30, 2000, is an Aespa member under record label SM Entertainment.

At the 19th Korean Music Awards on March 1, 2022, girl group Aespa won the most awards of any artist, including three winning titles: Song of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Best K-Pop Song. The annual music award ceremony is significant as it places a high value on singers' albums and songs rather than their sales figures.
