American gangster Orlando Tive "Baby Lane" Anderson is said to be the prime suspect in the murder of Tupac Shakur.

It's now been 27 years since the famous American rapper was mercilessly murdered in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. Fans of Shakur still contemplate and brew various different conspiracy theories surrounding his death. For the unversed, surprisingly the rapper's death remains unsolved. The police to this date could not find who exactly murdered the rapper and got away with it. Some claim that it was Marion “Suge” Knight, the owner of Shakur’s record label who arranged the killing, while others claim that industry rivals Christopher “Notorious BIG” Wallace and Sean “Puffy” Combs had him murdered.

The most bizarre theory also claims that Shakur faked his own death to get away from the pressure of stardom. Amidst all these theories, the one that made complete sense was the infamous Southside Crips gang who had murdered the rapper after he had a physical altercation with one of their gang members named Orlando Anderson, hours before his murder.

Much evidence points out that the Southside Crips gang is behind the killing of Tupac Shakur to avenge the beating of one of its members (Orlando Anderson) by the rapper himself. Shakur and Knight were on their way to make an appearance at a new nightclub in Las Vegas, at the time of his murder. Hours before the unfortunate event, Shakur and Knight were in MGM Grand Hotel, watching Mike Tyson fight. After the match was done, as per reports, Shakur came across Anderson and jumped him immediately.

The reason Shakur and Anderson had a fight was that weeks prior Anderson had allegedly stolen a Death Row necklace from one of the label’s members. This led to Shakur confronting him with violence. After the fight broke up, Shakur and Knight continued their night by leaving to attend a nightclub.
