26-year-old Caurey Rollins was initially accused of licking a boy’s feet and charged with non-aggravated child molestation. The horrific incident took place in January at an indoor trampoline park. While Caurey Rollins was out of prison on bond, he was arrested again after he attempted to see another child’s feet.

An additional charge of attempted child molestation has been filed against Caurey after he was arrested for the second time. The owner of the establishment where the alleged licking incident happened in January claimed that Rollins was alone in an area that was designated only for kids.
On February 11, 2023, Rollins reportedly resigned from his job as a teacher’s aide at Glenn Hills Elementary School in Augusta.

Caurey Rollins currently faces several charges related to the molestation of children. His alleged crimes began with a foot-licking incident on January 14, 2023, at Urban Air Adventure Park. The 7-year-old victim was with a friend and the friend’s mother at the establishment when Rollins licked his toes.
According to the victim’s guardian, Caitlin Phillips, the child recounted the incident in the following words:
“He said ‘there was an adult and he asked me to sit down in front of him and he um, wanted me to remove my socks and started rubbing on my feet. And then he started licking them’… like licking his toes.”
Caurey Rollins allegedly asked the boy to get rid of his socks and then began licking his toes. Phillips further added:
“Whenever one of the children came down, that was with me he came to me with a very concerned look on his face and he mentioned to me that there was an adult up there that... At first, he described was tickling his feet, and that alarmed me.”
Rollins, then resigned at the beginning of February, after he was accused of molesting several female students.
Caurey Rollins was hired to work at Glenn Hills Elementary School in August 2022, and his contract was for 10 months. According to Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Bradshaw:
“The safety and security of our students is of the utmost importance to us.”
Caurey Rollins was released on bond after getting arrested for the foot-licking incident, with no ankle monitor. Augusta District Attorney Jared Williams argued against the bond. However, the judge granted it with some conditions. Rollins was ordered to stay away from all the victims and was imposed with a curfew.
Rollins was arrested again after he came in contact with a 12-year-old boy and asked him to show his feet
After getting released on May 8, he interacted with a 12-year-old boy from his Chevrolet Camaro and showed him pictures of his feet. The boy was reportedly playing basketball in the driveway when Rollins arrived.
He then asked the child if his feet resemble the ones in the pictures, and also wanted to see them for himself. The child denied it and rushed back to his house. The kid’s mother heard the incident and remembered a similar case, especially when the boy identified the suspect as Caurey Rollins.
He was arrested again on Friday, at around 9 am local time, after he was accused of repeating a similar incident. Rollins currently faces charges of criminal attempt of child molestation in connection to the events that took place on Wednesday, May 17, at around 5:25 pm local time. In connection to the incident that happened at the school, he faces eight child molestation charges.
Shortly after the news regarding the foot-licking incident in January broke out, parents expressed their concerns regarding the suspect, on social media platforms. Phillips additionally stated:
“The pattern of predators. They find a way; they will revolve their whole life around their fantasy.”
After the January incident, Caurey Rollins was placed on administrative leave for an indefinite period by the Richmond County School System.
However, on February 11, he resigned from his position at Glenn Hills Elementary School. Phillips recalled the tragic incident of January, and said:
“I pulled up behind the vehicle that he was getting into. And I saw that he had an educator tag and I just busted into tears.”
The guardian additionally stated:
“That is a s*xual offense. Somebody messing with your feet. You know, it’s a child, number one, and the person has no consent to touch you, you know, in that way.”
On April 11, 2023, a grand jury indicted Caurey Rollins on seven counts of child molestation. After the final arrest, he was charged with a criminal attempt to commit a felony, and a bond was denied as well. Upon being asked if Rollins would be transferred to Richmond County, Maj. Steve Morris with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that it isn’t happening anytime soon.
