Angela Renée White, best known by her professional alias Blac Chyna is an American model, television personality, rapper, and socialite, who found her fame in the industry as the stunt double for Nicki Minaj in Kanye West’s music video Monster. After her breakthrough in 2010, Blac Chyna gradually began becoming a very controversial figure in the industry.
From music videos to reality shows, Blac Chyna has done it all. Other than her disputes with other celebrities, Blac Chyna is also well-known for undergoing several surgeries for buttock augmentation and breast enhancement over the years. In 2023, she left the netizens stunned after the socialite decided to let go of the implants and fillers and get baptized.
Blac Chyna before and after surgery
As mentioned before, Blac Chyna has had multiple cosmetic surgeries done over the years. Butt jobs, breast enhancement, lip fillers, jaw fillers - you name it, Chyna had it. However, years after getting them done, the American model felt these fillers and implants did not define her. In March 2023, Blac Chyna left many surprised after she revealed that she was getting rid of the fillers and the piercings she had done.
During an interview with ET, Blac Chyna explained why she decided to undo her cosmetic surgeries and how she felt the need to change herself as well as who she was inside because of the things she was “attracting” in her life. Chyna said, “You have to think about it like this ... whatever we put on the outside is the first thing, I could look at you and make any assumption right until you start speaking to me. So my thing is before you even start talking to me or give me a chance I want you to see, 'OK this is a well-rounded woman.’” She added, "Not with these types of boobs and a big butt and the big lips. It’s just like, ‘Ahh.’ It put me in this category when that's really not who I am internally."
Blac Chyna began posting her transformational videos on her social media handle, and netizens were in absolute support of her. The same month Chyna also revealed that she removed her breast and butt implants. In the video, Chyna said, “As y'all know, I'm changing my life and changing my ways. So one of the things that I feel like is gonna take me to the next level is obviously taking some of these ass shots out.”
Currently, Blac Chyna is completely free from her fillers, implants, piercing, and even some of her tattoos, such as the Baphomet, which she felt needed to be removed in order to complete her transformation.
Did Blac Chyna get Baptized?
In her gradual transformation journey, Blac Chyna also got herself baptized and revealed that she has now found god. The rapper got baptized on her birthday and claims that she has been “reborn”. According to Vibe, during an interview with TMZ Live, Chyna opened up about her decision to “reinvent” herself and start her spiritual journey. Blac Chyna said, “Being in the industry for so long, you will lose yourself. So I wanted to get back to myself and become a better mom, a better friend, be more spiritual, more business savvy and really show the real person that I am, and not this persona that I was putting on.”
She also added, “I just want to be happy. I just want to be peaceful with myself. My kids are going to be 7 and 11 this year. I want to be a positive reflection on them so that the generations that are to come can also have that peace, stability, and balance in their life so that they can become successful and not fall victim to the things, that really honestly, are not good. None of those things serve me.”
