The Flash star Ezra Miller has recently been in the eyes of the media numerous times for their repeated strings of controversies which include, a series of arrests and assault charges. Miller's Hollywood career was almost jeopardized due to their disorderly behavior.

The American actor began their Hollywood career through their debut film Afterschool (2008). Their role in the 2012 film The Perks of Being a Wallflower helped Miller rise to fame in Hollywood. Since then, Miller has slowly climbed the ladder of success through projects such as We Need to Talk About Kevin, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and The Flash.

Ezra came out as queer in 2012 but avoids using the label 'Queer' and identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. However, as of 2022, Ezra uses they/them/it or zir pronouns.

Ezra Miller's entire controversies timeline

The first time Ezra got into controversy was when he was arrested and charged with marijuana possession on June 22, 2011. This was right before their breakout role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Later in July a publication reported that the court dismissed the possession charges by issuing disorderly conduct citations.

Ezra's next major controversy was in April 2020, after a video surfaced on the internet which showed Miller appearing to choke a woman at a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. However, two years after the incident the woman from the clip revealed that the Banter and the fight were meant to be a 'joke'.

Then in March 2022, Miller was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment due to two separate incidents that balled at a Karaoke Bar in Hawaii. As per reports, the Flash actor started using derogatory language on those who were singing karaoke at the bar. It was alleged that the actor had also lunged at a 32-year-old man who was playing darts.

That April, the judge sentenced Miller to a $500 fine.

Once again in March 2022, Ezra once again made headlines for yet another controversy of his. On March 29, two Hilo residents filed for a temporary restraining order against Ezra and accused him of harassing and threatening them. In the complaint, the couple also claimed that Miller had stolen their personal belongings. However, two weeks later, the judge dismissed the restraining order case at the couple's request.

Then in April 2022, Ezra was arrested on a second-degree assault charge once again in Hawaii after he reportedly threw a chair on a 26-year-old female on the forehead just because he was asked to leave. As per the officials, his apparent actions resulted in some serious injury to the victim.

Coming to June 2022, this controversy of Ezra left many shell-shocked after they were accused of grooming. On June 7, Chase Iron Eyes and his wife Sara claimed that Miller was manipulating and controlling their daughter Tokata Iron Eyes (she uses she/they pronouns and goes by the name Gibson).

The parents accused Miller of grooming their daughter since the age of 12 and corrupting her by displaying "cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behavior." However, Gibson later dismissed the parent's claims and extended support to Ezra Miller.

Right after Chase and Sara's accusation, another parent accused Miller of acting inappropriately toward the minor. The parents were granted a temporary harassment prevention order against Miller after he troubled the family and the minor one evening in their downstairs neighbor's home.

Then in August 2022, Miller was accused of burglarizing a home in Vermont by stealing several bottles of alcohol. Recently on October 17, 2022, they pleaded not guilty to the burglary charges.

Ezra Miller's addressing everyone on his recent controversies

On August 15, through the media outlet Public, Miller addressed the recent controversies and their troubling behavior. They said, "Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment". Miller added, "I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior.
