Haliey Welch, known for the popular Hawk Tuah meme, has joined the premium content subscription service, FanFix. It is a subscription-based social media platform with headquarters in California, which hosts membership clubs for content creators.

It was established in October 2021 by social media celebrity Cameron Dallas, Simon Pompan, and Harry Gestetner. Content creators are using it to produce various content, which can be accessed by their fans via various subscriptions. They can take monthly memberships from their fans to generate a steady stream of money.

So, fans can now interact with the Hawk Tuah girl directly via messages and private livestreams. In an Instagram video posted on July 25, she told her followers the same. The caption read:

“What ya’ll have been waiting for is finally here! I just launched my @Fanfix so I can connect with y’all 1 on 1 and to show you more of my daily crazy life! Subscribe and message me today!”

Fanfix is a Gen Z-focused Patreon-style platform. Through the membership platform, content creators can interact with and make money from their fan bases. SuperOrdinary purchased Fanfix in 2022. This acquisition has promoted awareness among other influencers and elevated the market for content creators.

Creators can also post unique content, communicate with their fans, offer early access to future releases, and publish blogs, b-roll films, and tutorials. As per the Fanfix website, the creators can now set their own "pay per message" price and earn tips from the posts.

Artists, inspirational speakers, gamers, TikTokers, models, and fitness influencers all have fanfix accounts. Additionally, Fanfix features a diverse community of creators, including game developers, chefs, artists, athletes, comedians, and even those who contribute instructional content to their audience.

Currently, Fanfix states that it has three thousand creators and ten million users. This platform provides creators with a plethora of advantages, such as tipping on posts, establishing membership fees, setting tips to DM prices, and receiving the maximum amount of earnings.

The Hawk Tuah girl also spoke with Distractify on July 26, about her officially joining FanFix. She said:

"Fanfix is the best subscription platform for emerging creators, as it’s brand-safe and has a brilliant, engaged team behind it. I am excited for this new adventure in content creation where I can share more about my daily life and let fans meet the real Haliey."

Unlike other content platforms, Fanfix seemingly uses the network effect to accelerate the growth of paid followers, giving the creators more control over their work. Furthermore, the platform connects content creators, like the Hawk Tuah girl, with people who are interested in their work.

As per an EIN News report in July 2021, regarding the platform, co-CEO Harry Gestetner said:

“Fanfix allows creators to earn while doing what they love. We shift the power away from the large social media conglomerates and put it back in the hands of the creator.”

Additionally, during a Forbes interview, which was published on August 2, 2022, when talked about the profits for the creators, Henry further said:

"Creators have earned millions of dollars on Fanfix by providing value to their most loyal fans."

Furthermore, the creators, such as the Hawk Tuah girl, can retain 80% of all earnings and are free to choose their own subscription and tip-to-DM costs. Fanfix retains 20% for platform upkeep and operational costs.
