“Unbeknownst to me, RZA took me to that party at the Beverly Hills hotel at 9 pm, was supposed to be a quick stop before studio… Then everyone starts getting drunk and Russell leans over to Britney Furlan and asks her if she would be okay if he f*cked me that night,” Banks wrote on X.

She further continued:

“My heart dropped into my stomach and I looked at RZA and could finally make sense of the “ain’t sh*t,’ look he had on his face. Watch those TMZ testimonies… NONE OF THEM ARE MAKING SENSE. I didn't jump with a glass in my hand…”

Azealia claimed that Russell Crowe reportedly "spit" on her, choked her, and shoved her to the ground because she didn't accept his alleged s*xual advances.

Azealia Banks' latest tweet was a response to a netizen's comment asking, "Why did Russell Crowe slap a ho then! And RZA do nothing!" on one of her other posts. Earlier, the 212 singer called off a record deal with RZA and accused him of "p*mping" her out to Russell Crowe in an X post dated September 22, 2024.

In October 2016, Azealia Banks made headlines after she was thrown out of a party hosted by Russell Crowe at his Los Angeles hotel room for allegedly threatening fellow guests. At the time, several outlets, including TMZ, reported that she attended the bash as a guest of RZA but ridiculed the host's music selection and called him and other guests "boring white men."

An unnamed female guest allegedly criticized her, which reportedly infuriated Banks. She then seemingly threatened to do "some real Tarantino sh*t," such as wanting to break her glass, stab everyone in the throat, and spill blood all around.

As per The Guardian, Azealia purportedly raised a glass and attempted to throw it. At that point, Russell Crowe allegedly grabbed her in a "bear hug" and had her escorted out with the help of security guards.

At the time, the Fantasea singer was suspended from X and issued a statement on Facebook via her spokesperson, Raymani International. She claimed that Crowe allegedly used the n-word, choked her, and spat on her.

“Azealia is tremendously distraught and disheartened. She is shell shocked and will speak out on the incident once she has had time to process the brutality and abuse, she was unjustly subjected to,” it further read.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses told the media that Azealia Banks was the one who allegedly created chaos and uttered the n-word, as per BBC. At the time, she filed a police report against Crowe, while RZA publicly denounced Banks via a Facebook post, calling her an "obnoxious, erratic individual."

Later, during an appearance on the radio talk show The Breakfast Club, RZA clarified that Russell spat near her, not directly at her. However, he seemingly didn't hear him say the n-word. As for Crowe, he never publicly commented on the incident. Also, the DA's office declined to prosecute him as eyewitness accounts weighed in his favor.

Over the years, Azealia Banks has continued to maintain her allegations against Russell Crowe and has also slammed RZA for letting the former allegedly treat her horribly. In a recent tweet dated December 28, 2024, she once again doubled down on the accusations.

“Russell had his hand on my leg talking sh*t about my videos and sh*t and at this point, I'm looking at RZA like let’s gooooooooooooooooo. Some Mexican girl started talking sh*t I told her it shut her groupie a*s up, Russell leans on close, calls me a n*gger then reaches for my throat, chokes me, throws me on the ground then spits on me,” she wrote.

Azealia Banks mentioned being reportedly "brutalized" for not allowing Russell Crowe to make alleged advances at her. She also added that the Man of Steel star purportedly spat at her not because she was "rowdy" but because she wouldn't accept him.
