The much-awaited reality series Selling Sunset is back with a brand new installment. All the episodes of the fan-favorite real estate series premiered on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 3 am ET on Netflix. It documented the realtors and the cast members navigating their business deals, showing houses, while also dealing with drama surrounding competition, ego clashes and impending issues.

The first two episodes of Selling Sunset documented friction between new cast member Bre Tiesi and Chelsea Lazkani, who joined the Oppenheim group before her. Bre claimed that Chelsea orchestrated a "setup" by purposely inviting friends to a showcase even after knowing they were previously on bad terms with her.

Chelsea, for her part, claimed that she only invited her friends because one of them was a billionaire and was open to buying the house. She slammed Bre for openly addressing the issue and calling it out in front of the whole team.

Spoiler Alert: This article contains spoilers from the first two episodes of Selling Sunset season 6.

Bre and Chelsea start off with some friction on Selling Sunset

The firs two episodes of Selling Sunset saw the cast members, both former and new ladies get acquainted with each other and help them with listings and showcases. While some got along well, newcomer Bre ran into rough waters with fellow castmate Chelsea.

After Bre introduced herself to the office members, she took her spot, which was previously Chrishell's. After some conversations about potential listings and baby due dates, Chelsea asked the newbie about her real estate experience. Bre revealed that she's had the license since 2017 but only practiced it by 2021.

Chelsea advised Bre to not be discouraged if the latter didn't make enough business the first year and only focus on "building momentum." The newcomer then asked her fellow Selling Sunset cast member about her sales in the first year, to which Chelsea responded with a $9.2 million mark. Bre threw some subtle shade by revealing that her very first sale was for $20 million.

The cast gathered for Emma's showcase party where Chelsea introduced Jason to some of her clients and her friends Savanna and Alexanne. Later on in the episode, when Bre met them, she realized they were her acquaintances from her modeling days, with who she wasn't on great terms. This led her to think that Chelsea purposefully set it up to make her look bad.

The following morning in the Selling Sunset episode, Bre decided to address the issue in a team meeting. Chelsea revealed that she knew about the former's connection with Savanna after hearing her friend speak about it, but only brought her because of her billionaire status and her ability to buy the house. While Chelsea thought they were friends, Bre revealed that they weren't on great terms.

Bre further confessed to feeling like it was a set up by Chelsea. The latter was seemingly disappointed by the accusation, and while she denied it, she also denied it. She said:

"A setup? I mean, I'm a grown woman with two kids. I barely have time to apply my makeup, let alone orchestrate a whole setup. I think Bre needs to take some ettiquette classes, because coming at me like that in a team meeting is totally unprofessional and we don't do that at O group."

Later on in the Selling Sunset episode, Chelsea clarified that her friend Savanna was mutual friends with Bre. In a conversation with fellow cast member Emma, Chelsea explained that she'd asked her friend about how she knew Bre, who then revealed that they were models back in the day.

Chelsea, however, was offended by Bre bringing it up during a team meeting. The latter, for her part, addressed her concerns in a conversation with Heather. She felt it was intentional on Chelsea's part to bring her friends who were not agents at a broker's open. Bre felt that the only reason they could be there was because of their tumultuous past with her, indicating it was a setup.

Season 6 of Selling Sunset has been intense from the get-go. The installment promises viewers with drama, competition and arguments over issues, enough to keep them hooked to the series like its previous seasons. Viewers will have to tune in to witness what's in store for them.

Selling Sunset season 6 is currently premiering on Netflix.
