Tally the Elf, who has been a part of Walt Disney World for a long time, has been trending after he was reportedly removed from the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. The parade has gained recognition over the years for Tally's appearances, as per Pirates & Princesses.

The news of Tally's removal from the parade came after he was followed by many people on social media who interfered with his privacy by shouting his real name during the December 12, 2024, parade.

Notably, the stalking happened when Tally the Elf went viral on different platforms where visitors of Walt Disney World were spotted speaking to him, as per Inside the Magic. The videos featured Tally checking Santa's list to know whether the guests were on the "Naughty" or "Nice" side.

While Tally became popular among the public, all those who attended the parade reportedly started checking the real name of the person who played the Elf.

Tally the Elf's popularity left his supporters worried

As per the latest update, Disney confirmed that Tally the Elf has not been removed from the parade, and he will continue to be a part of Walt Disney World, as per WDW News Today. A report by the New York Post stated that before the rumors of the Elf's removal started trending on social media, his supporters were concerned that fans allegedly looking him up would create trouble for him.

The outlet also stated that TheFitFlounder, an influencer for Disney, addressed the Elf's popularity in a statement, saying that "doxxing" of a Disney cast member is "absolutely deplorable" and added:

"Tally is still in the parade, this specific actor playing Tally called out. This is where the problem lies. Every cast member at Disney is very hardworking and they all deserve to be treated with respect."

As mentioned, Tally the Elf has been trending on social media for some time, and the reason has been his antics during the Christmas parade at Disney World. According to Boston Rock's 92.9, Tally adds jingle bells to the vest and carries a candy cane visor.

During his appearance at the Walt Disney Parade, Tally the Elf would repeat the name of a park visitor loudly and reveal his verdict on whether someone is nice or naughty. The park has also posted the moments featuring Tally with the guests on social media platforms, and they have received thousands of views until now.

Once Upon a Christmastime Parade explained in detail

Walt Disney's Christmastime Parade was launched back in 2007, replacing Mickey's Very Merry Christmastime Parade, which started in 1989. A few segments of the parade were removed around three years ago when Magic Kingdom confirmed the parade's updated version for a new holiday event, Disney Very Merriest After Hours.

While the parade's soundtrack became popular over the years, it was replaced by a new one last month. It was a mixture of traditional holiday songs alongside the main parade's song, as reported by WDW Magic.

However, the characters featured in the parade remained the same, including Mickey, Minnie, Anna, and more. Apart from Disney characters, the parade also features elves and toy soldiers.

According to Orlando Parenting, the parade runs for around 20 minutes. The parade reaches Main Street USA after crossing through Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Cinderella Castle.
