The show's first episode aired in September 2011 on truTV, and since then, the comedy troupe, called The Tenderloins, has grown to become massively famous worldwide. However, the show's loyal fans had to face a huge blow in 2022 when Joe Gatto announced that he was leaving the show for personal reasons. He broke the news through an Instagram post stating that he has split from his wife, Bessy, due to which he needs time off to take care of his two kids.
