Who are the cast members of American Born Chinese?
Academy Award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh will play the role of Guanyin, a bodhisattva in Chinese mythology who is associated with compassion and mercy.
Yeoh is rejoined by former Everything Everywhere All At Once co-star, Ke Huy Quan. Quan, who was originally a child actor, starred in The Goonies and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom before stepping away from his acting career. After seeing the success of the Korean film Parasite by director Bong Joon-ho at the 2019 Academy Awards, Quan returned to playing starring roles. Now Ke Huy Quan will play Freddy Wong in the Disney+ series.
The series will also have Stephanie Hsu, who was last seen in Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
