Monica's magic number is seven.

In the sitcom Friends, "The One with Phoebe's Uterus," S04E11, is a classic episode in which Monica informs Chandler that there are seven female erogenous zones. She maps out various combinations that might result in pleasure (a-one-two-three!) for each zone, giving each zone a corresponding number. The studio audience erupts in thunderous laughter and applause as she then breaks into a jubilant "Seven, Seven, Seven!"

Erogenous zones are regions of our bodies and skin that have increased sensitivity to arousal, in case anyone was wondering what Monica was even alluding to in that feverish outburst. The role of Monica Geller was portrayed by American actress and filmmaker Courtney Cox on NBC’s Friends, which aired from 1994 to 2004. She was nominated for seven Screen Actors Guild Awards for her work in the series, and she took home one of them.

She gained more fame for playing Gale Weathers in the horror movie series Scream (1996–present). She also played Lauren Miller in the NBC comedy Family Ties (1987–1989), Lucy Spiller in the FX drama Dirt (2007–2008), and Jules Cobb in the ABC/TBS comedy Cougar Town (2009–2015), the latter of which earned her nominations at the Critics' Choice and Golden Globe Awards.

Why doesn't Monica get along with her mother?

Monica has had a strained relationship with her parents, particularly her mother, ever since she was a young child. She has always been portrayed as growing up in Ross's shadow because he was favored by their parents. The person who had a special talent for drawing attention to Monica's shortcomings and discrediting her as her daughter was Monica's mother.

Judy didn't pick up her daughter's calls, and once she even said that if Ross died, she wouldn't have any children. That may help to explain why Monica never gave up trying to win her parents' approval and to please her mother, who never seemed to pay her any attention.

There was no specific reason given as to why Judy has a strained relationship with Monica; it is possible that Ross was Judy's perfect child and Monica was simply not up to it. Despite her best efforts, Monica had one episode in which she cooked for Judy and her friends. Monica received some praise from Judy in that episode, but that was it.

Why did Monica decide to lose weight?

Simply because Chandler called her fat, Monica made the decision to shed her extra 255 pounds. You see, when they first met on Thanksgiving in 1987, Monica had a crush on him right away. However, when she later overheard Chandler refer to her as Ross' "fat sister," her entire world was turned upside down.

Due to her distinctive personality and how much those words must have hurt, she was inspired to develop into the skinny Monica we know today. Of course, if Monica hadn't attempted to exact revenge on Chandler the very next Thanksgiving, she wouldn't be Monica. Despite having intended to seduce and humiliate Chandler, she unintentionally severed his toe.

How many guys did Monica sleep with?

According to a fan theory, she allegedly dated 17 men, including Chandler, who appeared on the show. Since Monica and Chandler essentially began dating at the end of Season 4, she has theoretically slept with 11 different men in the course of four years. However, the list of Monica's bedmates doesn't end there. According to the sitcom "Friends," Monica has slept with 14 different men during her dating career.

She is a sex-positive woman, however, and was already seen having a sexual encounter with Paul "the wine guy" in the show's pilot. In case you were curious, her youngest romantic interest was 17 years old (9 years younger than her), and her oldest was 48 years old (21 years older than her).

How did Monica manage to pay for her apartment?

Almost all of the Friends characters have occasionally shared or lived in Monica's infamously large apartment. Given that New York is not known for its affordable housing, we have to wonder how any of them, especially Monica with her low income, could afford to live there.

Fortunately, the Friends writers didn't leave us in the dark about that specific detail, revealing that Monica illegally inherited the apartment from her grandmother. It turns out that Monica only had to pay about $200 a month because the apartment was under rent control, which is a ridiculously low amount.
