Bobby died in season 7, episode 10, Death's Door, in the horror mystery drama Supernatural.

Supernatural, a dark fantasy drama television series of American origin, was conceived by the imaginative mind of Eric Kripke. Having made its initial premiere on September 13, 2005, on The WB, the show eventually secured a place in the programming lineup of its successor network, The CW.

Spearheaded by Warner Bros. Television in collaboration with Wonderland Sound and Vision, the series was brought to life under their production team. The pilot episode captivated an estimated viewership of 5.69 million, and the compelling ratings of the first four episodes led The WB to grant the series a full season order.

At its core, the narrative revolves around the profound bond between two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester. Later on, their family expands to include an angel of the lord named Castiel, who becomes an integral part of their lives despite his celestial origins. The show centers on the dynamics among these three characters and their relentless struggle against a myriad of forces, both internal and external.

Bobby's life hangs in the balance as Sam and Dean urgently rush him to the nearest hospital due to a severe head wound. The injury proves grave, resulting in brain swelling and a coma. Within the depths of his mind, Bobby finds himself reliving memories.

In one recollection, he joins Sam and Dean in a hunt against a Leviathan-created zombie in the woods, but an unsettling realization dawns upon him—he has experienced this before, and something is dreadfully amiss. Aware of his impending demise from a gunshot, Bobby swiftly jots down a series of numbers that he believes hold crucial significance for the boys.

Memories intertwine, shifting from his time with his late wife Karen to hunting ventures with Rufus. Throughout, a mysterious child frequently appears, traversing Bobby's recollections. Eventually, Bobby reunites with Sam and Dean at his own house, engaged in a passionate debate about movies, only to be confronted by the presence of a reaper. This otherworldly entity delivers the grim news that Bobby's time has come to an end.

Seeking aid, Bobby returns to the memory with Rufus, desperately attempting to seek his friend's guidance. In a pivotal moment, a fading Bobby resolves to trap the reaper, gathering the necessary spell ingredients despite the gradual destruction of his memories caused by the bullet in his brain.

With Rufus's assistance, they successfully ensnare the reaper above a sigil. The impressed reaper acknowledges Bobby's impact, recognizing that he made something meaningful out of an otherwise ordinary life. Nonetheless, the reaper warns Bobby that the trap's endurance is limited and will fade alongside his dwindling memories.

In a poignant exchange, the reaper questions Bobby's unwavering determination, prompting him to ask why. Bobby's resolute response stems from his deep affection for Sam and Dean, claiming them as his own.

To awaken from his memory, after trying so many doors, Bobby attempts another door and awakens in the hospital. Sam and Dean are present by his side. Unable to speak, Bobby signals his desire for something to write with. The brothers provide him with a pen, and he hastily scribbles the numbers onto Sam's hand. With a small, affectionate smile, Bobby affectionately refers to them as "idjits" before succumbing to his injuries. His heart monitor flatlines.

Within his subconscious, Bobby revisits the memory of Sam and Dean engaged in a lighthearted dispute over movies and snacks. Accompanied by the reaper, he becomes aware that this represents his final remaining memory. Bobby remarks that he saved the best for last, observing until the brothers fade away.
