Netflix brought some of its favorite reality TV stars together on Perfect Match in February 2023 to help them find a connection. Hosted by Nick Lachey, the dating show featured familiar faces from Too Hot To Handle, Love is Blind, The Circle, Sexy Beasts, and The Mole.

Amidst tons of hurdles, the contestants competed to form a compatible bond, which was tested each week by the introductions of new singletons on the series. Their goal was to make it to the end of the competition and subsequently also find a soulmate.

However, a consistent stream of new contestants meant hearts were broken and relationships were shattered each passing week. One of the most talked about couples on Perfect Match was Francesca Farago and Damian Powers. Things got quite steamy between the duo but they eventually called it quits for each other on the show.

The format of the show gave the winners of compatibility challenges the power to add new cast members to the villa. Francesca, a Too Hot to Handle alum, excelled in a few competitions and selected new singletons to go on a date with.

She tested her bond with The Mole’s Dom Gabriel and Twentysomethings’ Abbey Humphreys, before she matched with Damian Powers, who is known for leaving Giannina Gibelli at the altar in Love Is Blind. However, in episode 11 of Perfect Match, Francesca told Damian things wouldn’t work between the two. She said:

“I didn’t want to leave this house with anyone I wasn’t 100 percent certain on because leaving here in a relationship is so risky to me and I don’t want to do it unless I’m 100 percent certain. But I don’t know if we would work outside of this house.”

The Too Hot to Handle alum was unsure about moving forward with Damian and continued:

“We were so bad in that compatibility challenge. We don’t sit down and have in-depth conversations about anything. I don’t know if you know me deep down and I don’t know if I know you deep down.”

After the show ended, Francesca reflected on her bond with Damian in an interview with Today:

“I’m definitely the least close to Damian now and I was probably the closest to him in the house with our friendship, but I can’t really put a level on each relationship.”

Moreover, Francesca has moved on in her life. She is engaged to actor and TikTok sensation Jesse Sullivan. The couple does not fail to express their love publicly on social media. From attending events together to celebrating New Year, Francesca frequently flaunts her romantic moments with her fiance on Instagram.

Meanwhile, out of the 20-plus contestants who competed on the inaugural season of Perfect Match, only five couples made it to the finale: Nich Uhlenhuth-Lauren Chamblin, Izzy Fairthorne-Bartise Bowden, Kariselle Snow-Joey Sasso, Georgia Hassarati-Dom Gabriel, and Chloe Veitch-Shayne Jansen.

It was Georgia and Dom who were voted the ultimate Perfect Match and won an all-expense paid vacation. Notably, no couples that matched on the dating show at any point are together at this time.
