Stephen Findeisen, also known as Coffeezilla, is from Houston, Texas.

Stephen Findeisen, also known online as "Coffeezilla," is a cryptocurrency journalist and YouTuber from the United States. On his channel, he investigates and discusses alleged online scams, usually involving cryptocurrencies, Web3, and decentralized finance.

Between 2017 and 2020, Findeisen ran the YouTube channel Coffee Break before starting Coffeezilla. Texas A&M University awarded Findeisen a chemical engineering degree. He sold homes for a nearby builder prior to starting his YouTube career.

Findeisen became interested in scams after his cancer-stricken mother was coerced into purchasing dubious goods in the hope that they would help cure her.

Additionally, he exposes YouTubers and Twitch personalities, including Adin Ross, Andrew Tate, Ben Phillips, Ice Poseidon, IShowSpeed, Jake and Logan Paul, Jake Tran, Jay Mazini, Kay, Sam Pepper, Sliker, SteveWillDoIt, and Trainwreckstv.

When did Coffeezilla begin his career?

He started out as a YouTuber by posting videos in which he made accusations against financial commentators and influencers. After creating a number of videos examining the “Save the Kids Token,” a cryptocurrency widely regarded as a pump and dump scheme, he attained international fame.

He asserted that YouTube prankster Sam Pepper and former FaZe Clan member Frazier Khattri (AKA FaZe Kay) worked together. When Findeisen refused to retract his statements, Khattri's attorneys threatened to sue him in a cease and desist letter; however, Findeisen referred to the letter as "absolute toilet paper."

Findeisen was also active during FTX's bankruptcy, speaking with Sam Bankman-Fried, the company's founder, and claiming to have persuaded him to confess to fraud. The Washington Post cited Findeisen as one of the most influential independent news sources when it comes to the cryptocurrency industry because of his involvement with investigating FTX in particular.

Logan Paul created and founded the NFT-based game CryptoZoo, which was the subject of a three-part Findeisen series that was released in December 2022. He criticized the project for not living up to its promises and claimed the team had manipulated the market.

Paul addressed the allegations in a now-deleted video, threatening legal action for defamation against Findeisen and asserting that Findeisen had broken "criminal and civil laws" by posting a recording of a phone call with his manager, Jeff Levinan. Since then, he has taken back the threat.

Was Coffeezilla accused of harassment?

He was doxxed in 2020 by anonymous users on websites that host anonymous "reports," which frequently contain offensive falsehoods and demand payment of up to thousands of dollars to have damaging reports removed. His full name, as well as an outdated phone number and address, were included in the "reports."

The information in the "reports" stated that he used cocaine, was violent toward his wife, and was a con man. He discussed the situation and refuted the rumors in a video that was published on January 30, 2021.

Did Logan Paul apologized to Coffeezilla?

"Coffeezilla is not a criminal; I called him; I apologized; my initial response to his series was that of fire, ego, and pride; I was defensive because I knew I never scammed anyone with this project," Paul said. "The fact is, suing Coffeezilla is not going to help Cryptozoo holders, so I need to focus my attention there." He then shared his three-step strategy for improving the situation for both current shareholders and new investors.

He continued, "Me and Jeff are going to burn our tokens so we have no financial upside to the game, and it will add value to older tokens." “Step two, we want to offer a rewards program for players who are disappointed with the status of the game."

Logan continued to discuss the rewards program's details, mentioning that current owners will be able to sell their eggs for the mint price, which is higher than the game's current value and 0.1 Ethereum, so investors will receive a return on their investment. The game will be finished as promised, according to Logan's final revelation.

"To say I am disappointed with how this was handled internally is an understatement." "There’s a full internal investigation going on along with an audit, and we’re going to pursue full legal action for whoever needs to be held accountable."

"I’m sorry, guys; I apologize for how this has unfolded so far, and I want people to know that they can trust me and that I’ll always take care of the fans." "I promise to be transparent and disclose anything that happens in the process."
