Is Mission: Impossible 8 the last Mission: Impossible film?
There isn't an official answer to this. However, there is a huge possibility that Mission: Impossible 8 would be the last Mission: Impossible film that will mark the exit of Cruise's character Ethan Hunt. These reports come amidst the actor's reported rift with Paramount over the release strategy of 'Mission: Impossible VII'.
There have been many hints over MI 8 being the last film being given over time, however, the makers have not released an official statement about it.
While Mission: Impossible 7 is slated to release on July 14, 2023. Mission: Impossible 8 is slated to be released on June 8, 2024.
