The Equalizer TV series was filmed in several northern New Jersey locations, including Jersey City, Newark, and Paterson.

The American crime drama TV series The Equalizer premiered on CBS on February 7, 2021. It's part of a series that started with a movie in 2014 and its sequel in 2018, and it's also a reboot of a show from 1985 with the same name.

The show is about Robyn McCall, a mysterious woman who's a single mom to her teenage daughter, Delilah. She has some hidden talents, and she uses them to help people who have no one else to turn to. She acts like a guardian angel and protector for those who can't protect themselves, all while trying to find her own redemption.

The show was co-created by Richard Michael Sloan, Lindheim, and Queen Latifah. Queen Latifah also plays the main character, Robyn McCall. Other executive producers include John Davis, Debra Martin Chase, John Fox, Terri Miller, and Andrew Marlowe.

Unfortunately, Lindheim passed away on January 18, 2021, while working on the show, and the premiere episode is dedicated to his memory.
