How did the makers complete Furious 7 without Paul Walker?
Right after the news of Paul Walker's tragic death hit the news, Universal announced an indeterminate hiatus in the filming. The statement also cited that they would have a word with Walker's family members and come to a conclusion on how to go about with the rest of the production.
It was all thanks to his brothers Caleb and Cody Walker and the amazing VFX team, the makers could replace their faces with CGI versions of Paul in post-production. They shot 260 scenes with the Walker brothers and the rest of Paul Walker's scenes and the character's storyline was rewritten.
