Michele designed for Apple a strapless blue ciel evening dress fashioned in "six dégradé tiers of silk plissé chiffon, cinched at the waist with a black silk bow".

Per Vogue, Apple Martin's dress was brought to life in Alessandro's studio over the course of 750 hours. The dress was paired with a Valentino clutch and a pair of strappy sandals in the same shade of blue.

Donned in the gown, Martin became the first debutante to wear a custom Alessandro Michele to the ball, which introduces 20 women to high society every year. These women range between 16 and 22 in age.
