The American Slasher franchise, Scream has been one of the most renowned franchises in the horror-thriller genre. The first film of the franchise was released back in 1996 and since then it's been one of the go-to films for every horror fan. The franchise included six films, a television series, merchandise, and games. The sixth installment of the film was released recently in 2023.

Scream (1996) - The 1996 released film Scream is known as one of the bloodiest films of all time. It had two killers in it - Billy Loomis and Stu Macher. Loomis is the main antagonist of the film, while Macher is the second Ghostface. Billy was played by Skeet Ulrich and Stu Macher was okayed by Matthew Lillard.
Scream 2 (1997) - Similar to the first movie, the second movie also has two killers. Mickey Altieri played by Timothy Olyphant and Nancy Loomis played by Laurie Metcalf.
Scream 3 (2000) - Scream 3 is the only movie where there was only one killer revealed in the end. Roman Bridger was the killer in the third installment of the franchise. The role was played by Scott Foley.

Ghostface is the creepy identity adopted by the primary antagonist of the Scream franchise. The figure was created by Kevin Williamson and the voice-over for the scary figure was given by Roger L. Jackson. Ghostface first appeared in Scream. It recently appeared in the sixth film of the franchise.
