On the other hand, the duo's close friends spoke to The Sun a day after Dua posted the pictures, saying that they secretly got engaged and would spend time with their friends and family members on the upcoming New Year's Eve. A source for the outlet claimed that 2024 has been a great year for Dua and the engagement has been like a "cherry on the cake." The insider mentioned:
