Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s longtime friend, Courtney Ann Platt, has called out his widow, Allison Holker, for her recent interview with People Magazine and for using her late husband’s personal journal entries in her upcoming memoir, This Far.

“Anyone who knows me, knows I go straight to source during a conflict and handle my business but since there’s clearly no shame in being so public, I haven’t said a word in two years but here I go… This is by far the most tacky, classless, opportunistic act I have ever seen in my entire life,” Platt wrote in an Instagram post on January 7.

Platt, who's a dancer and actor, continued:

“Here you go and write a book with all the dirty laundry smearing his name and attempting to dim the bright, loyal, loving, light that was your husband, my friend. Whether any of it is true or not is actually beside the point.”

Courtney called out Allison for publicly revealing sensitive and never-seen or never-heard-before details of tWitch’s life, such as his drug addiction and mental health issues. She even called her a “living, breathing bulldozer” seeking PR.

All you need to know about tWitch’s friend, Courtney Ann Platt

Courtney Ann Platt was born Courtney Ann Galiano in Commack, New York, in June 1988. She attended Commack High School, followed by Manhattan College and St. Joseph University.

She is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and actress best known for her recurring role as The Mack in the first and third seasons (8 episodes) of Glee, which ran between 2010 and 2012. The 35-year-old also went on the Glee Live Tour as a back-up vocalist.

tWitch’s longtime friend and collaborator is a former contestant on Fox’s dance reality show, So You Think You Can Dance, where she earned the fourth position.

Some of her other notable works include Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (2009), Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), Leading Ladies (2010), Stand Up Guys (2012), Hit the Floor (2013), The Simpsons, and Grease Live! (2016), among others.

Courtney began dancing at the age of three as a Little Bo Peep and subsequently trained in various forms, including lyrical dance, tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. She has been a Knicks City dancer. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Jonah Platt, brother of actor-singer Ben Platt.

Courtney married Jonah in September 2016 after a year of being engaged. She gave birth to their first child, a son, Joseph, in March 2020. The couple later had another kid. She has survived relapsing multiple sclerosis since 2012 and has been a spokesperson for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and MS in Harmony.

More about Courtney Ann Platt’s criticism of tWitch’s widow, Allison Holker

In Tuesday’s social media post, Courtney Ann Platt slammed Allison Holker for running a “smear campaign for a buck” against her deceased spouse, Stephen “tWitch” Boss.

“I was there the moment you both connected, I was there the day you got engaged, I stood by your side on your wedding day, I was in your home the day he died. I was by your side because your husband was my family. It didn’t matter how often we spoke, how often we saw each other. We were bonded IVever,” Courtney began her IG post.

Platt criticized Holker for making tWitch's family and friends sign a “weird NDA to attend his funeral,” including his mother, whom she claimed was treated like “garbage.” The former said nobody intended to say anything or “ruin” Stephen’s name. However, now, tWitch’s widow was writing a tell-all memoir and spilling his life’s well-kept secrets.

“This is how you protect the ‘Boss name’ you so quickly dropped on your social media platforms 48 hours after he passed? His legacy? This is how you protect his children from any further humiliation, hurt, and despair? This is what you want them to remember about him?” Courtney wrote.

tWitch’s longtime pal addressed his widow and mentioned how she had “moved on” and was “living” her life. She said Holker appeared on every red carpet, celebrity row, and magazine and yet needed to write a book seemingly trying to damage his legacy.

“Get a journal, a therapist, a friend… but publishing a book shamelessly sharing the pages of your husband’s journal? People Magazine? What a joke. Yes, he took his own life which is a fact all of us still can’t fathom and he was clearly having mental health issues, hurting so deeply and this is your example of empathy? Of your love?” Platt asked.

She added how tWitch would have “never wanted” a smear campaign in exchange for money no matter “how hard he was hurting.” Asking Allison to “stick to your own demons,” Courtney Ann Platt wrapped up her post by shaming Holker and her “money-hungry team.” She also urged her friend’s widow to let him “rest in peace not your PR.”

Notably, Courtney is not the only one who has called out Allison Holker. tWitch’s brother, Dre Rose, also condemned the act. He even reshared Platt’s post on his IG Story with the caption, “No lies told…” In a follow-up story, he shared Katie Paulson’s post, which called Allison Holker "a disgrace(d) and despicable human to do this to a grieving family."

Other people who have criticized Holker include tWitch's cousin BIG ELLE (@wthDARIELLE on X) and Real Housewives of Potomac star Candiace Dillard Bassett.

For those unaware, Stephen Boss died in December 2022 from suicide. He was married to Allison Holker for nine years, and the couple shared three kids: Weslie, 16, Maddox, 8, and Zaia, 5. So far, Holker has not responded to criticism.

Her memoir, This Far, is slated for a February 4, 2025, release.
