Emma Dumont, who portrayed Jackie Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, recently revealed herself as a transmasculine non-binary. Dumont has added the pronouns they/them to their Instagram bio and changed their name to Nick Dumont.
Notably, Dumont has yet to share an official statement on the latest report of them coming out. However, their representative addressed the same by speaking to TMZ and stated:
"They identify as a trans masculine non-binary person. Their work name is still going to be Emma Dumont, but they will go by Nick with friends and family."
Dumont has been sharing some Instagram posts since May this year, which hinted towards the shift. The first one featured them with short hair and a casual outfit. The caption read:
"Your favorite sweetheart's favorite sweetheart."
A similar post was shared in August 2024 followed by another one three days ago where they wore T-shirts of different colors and used sunglasses in a few of them. They also wrote below the photos:
"Boggs Season."
According to Healthline, transmasculine are those individuals who were assigned female at birth but they identify themselves as male. It also includes different categories such as transgender men, AFAB nonbinary, AFAB demi boys, and AFAB gender-fluid.

Although the Seattle, Washington native has been a part of different successful projects over the years, they also appeared in the biographical thriller Oppenheimer, which came out last year. It turned out to be one of the highest-grossing R-rated films of all time.
As mentioned, Emma Dumont appeared as Jackie, the sister-in-law of J. Robert Oppenheimer. She was a student at the University of California and became associated with the Young Communist League at the same time.
Jackie was married to Robert's brother Frank and the duo first met at college. Despite being stopped by Robert, Jackie and Frank became a part of the American Communist Party. Furthermore, Robert never supported his brother's marriage due to Jackie's communist links.
According to Deadline, Dumont was signed for Christopher Nolan's film along with Harrison Gilbertson in 2022.
Based on the life of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, the film won around seven Academy Awards. Cillian Murphy played the lead role and was supported by a lineup of other talented faces like Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt.
