The official trailer for The Exorcist: Believer was released on July 25, 2023 on YouTube. As per the trailer, the upcoming horror movie revolves around a two families whose daughters have been possessed by some deadly demon, possibly Pazuzu again, considering Ellen Burstyn, who portrayed the role of Chris MacNeil in the original Exorcist film, reprised her role for the upcoming film.

In the film, Chris MacNeil is seen telling the demon “we meet again”, this points that it's very much possible that both the girls in the film are being possessed by Pazuzu. Coming back to the topic, the family members of the two girls now reach out and seek desperate help from Chris MacNeil who has been the only person alive who has had similar experiences.
