Blake's second marriage was quite controversial. Reportedly, Bakley was dating Marlon Brando's son, Christian, when she began a relationship with Robert Blake. At that time, she got pregnant and told both men that the baby was theirs. After the child was born, it was first named after Brando and was called Christian Shannon Brando. However, later a DNA test proved that the child's biological father was Robert Blake. The name of Blake's daughter was then changed to Rose Lenore Sophia Blake.
Things came crashing down for Blake when his wife Bonny was found dead in his car which was parked outside an Italian restaurant in Studio City, California. Bonny Lee Bakley was shot to death on May 4, 2001. Due to this Blake was arrested on the charges of his wife's murder but later he was acquitted.

After the loss of his second wife, Blake then found love for the third time with Lost Highway actor Pamela Hudak. The two tied the knot in 2017. However, a year later they called it quits and opted for divorce. According to Hudak. The two had known each other for over a decade.
Hudak and Blake do not share any children. The two separated in 2019.
