None of the couples from "Love is Blind" season two are reportedly no longer together.
"Love Is Blind" is a three-week-long dating reality TV show that debuted on Netflix on February 13, 2020. It was created by Chris Coelen and produced by Kinetic Content. The show has been compared to “The Bachelor” and “Married at First Sight," both of which were created by Kinetic Content. A reunion special for the first season aired on March 5 on Netflix and YouTube.
Netflix decided to renew "Love Is Blind" for a second and third season on March 24, 2020. Beginning on February 11, 2022, and ending on February 25, 2022, was the second season. Dallas, Texas, serves as the setting for the third season, which was shot concurrently with season two. On March 24, 2022, Netflix announced that Love Is Blind would receive a fourth and fifth season.
The following is a list of the couples from "Love is Blind" season 2:
Danielle and Nick
After leaving the pods, these two experienced some rough patches, but ultimately their relationship triumphed because of honest communication and couples therapy. "We’re doing good these days," Nick said to Tudum. "We’ve moved in together; we’ve brought our dog and cat under the same roof." "We’ve got some trips that we’ve done." Without an upcoming on-camera wedding, Danielle continued, things had gone more smoothly. "After the pressure of having to say yes or no went away, it was like this cloud had been lifted, and we were finally able to have the relationship that we had in the pods,"
Danielle says. "All of the fears that we had about being married, it was harder to talk through them than it was to live through them." "And now, our lives are integrated; our dogs and cats are integrated; our friends are integrated; our families are integrated, and so it’s better than I could have even anticipated."
However, a little over a year after getting married, on August 22, the couple filed for divorce. Danielle wrote in a statement she shared on Instagram, "It has taken some time to publicly speak about my marriage ending, as emotions are still raw." "However, I will always appreciate those who have followed my journey and continue to support me throughout this entire experience." "No matter what, I’ll always care for Nick and appreciate our time together." "Our experience together will always hold a special place in my heart."
Iyanna and Jarrett
Iyanna McNeely, 28, and Jarrette Jones, 32, were one of the two couples on Season 2 of Love Is Blind to actually get married. The couple confirmed their continued relationship at the March reunion, but it appears that things deteriorate in the "After the Altar" trailer.
Fans may not be surprised by these scenes, though, as the couple recently announced their divorce in a joint statement. "After much thought, we're saddened to share that we have separated and will begin the process of divorcing,"
On August 17, 2022, the two made a joint Instagram post. "While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions, and that's OK." "Coming to this decision was far from easy, and we will always wish each other the absolute best."
Shaina and Kyle
In the "Love Is Blind" episodes of the show, Shaina Hurley, 32, and Kyle Abrams, 30, got engaged. However, they separated before getting married because of differences in religious beliefs. After the show ended, Shaina started dating Christos Lardakis, with whom she later got married in a lavish Greek ceremony in July 2022.
In the meantime, Deepti Vempati, his other co-star, and Kyle have been getting closer. At the Love Is Blind reunion in March, their potential romance was hinted at, but it has not yet been officially confirmed.
Deepti and Abhishek (Shake)
After having a difficult time in the months leading up to their wedding, Deepti Vempati, 31, made the decision not to wed Shake, 33, on their wedding day. After making several unflattering comments about his future wife, including one in which he said she reminded him of his aunt, Shake angered fans.
Since the beginning of the show, Deepti and Kyle have become close, and “After the Altar” will delve into their potential romance. Shake isn't shown in any of the fresh trailer footage, so it's unclear whether he'll be appearing in the After the Altar episodes. We do know that he is single and resides in Miami thanks to his Instagram.
Shayne and Natalie
The night before their wedding, Natalie Lee, 29, and Shayne Jansen, 32, got into a heated argument that went unspoken. Natalie Lee then decided to call off the wedding. Prior to getting married, the couple already encountered difficulties when they became embroiled in a scandal involving Shaina Hurley, who had developed feelings for Shayne in the pods.
The couple started dating again after Love Is Blind stopped filming, but their relationship has since ended. There may be drama in the works because Shaina is scheduled to appear in the episodes, and the trailer for “After the Altar” suggests that the two still have a pretty rocky relationship.
Mallory and Salvador
Mallory Zapata, 32, and Salvador "Sal" Perez, 31, decided against getting married, and Sal told his bride that he "needed more time" as they stood at the altar. At the reunion, he later hinted that there might have been more to his choice, but he didn't want to "air out dirty laundry" in front of everyone.
The “After the Altar” trailer gives the impression that Sal has moved on from his ex-fiance and is now involved in a new relationship.
