A model named Sabrina Krasniqi reportedly murdered her husband Pajtim Krasniqi by firing at him with a gun and later shot herself on November 27, 2024. The duo was 27 and 34 years old respectively at the time of death, as reported by the New York Post on Friday, November 29.

Even though detailed information about Sabrina Krasniqi's career remains unknown, her maiden name was Sabrina Dzaferovic. She once walked at Times Square for a report by Inside Edition in 2021, addressing the problems of street catcalling, as per WPLG Local 10.

The shooting incident happened at a condo in Beach Club II Hallandale in Hallandale Beach at 12:30 a.m. and the dead bodies were recovered from the property's 45th floor.

According to NBC 6, a chopper from the location of the condo captured a moment where two dead bodies were covered by a tarp on the balcony, and bullet holes were seemingly spotted on a glass door. The footage also disclosed that there was a box of roses with a heart on top of it alongside a teddy bear.

The Hallandale Police Department received an alert of the incident through a gunfire detection program called ShotSpotter, which captured five gunshots altogether followed by another shot after a short gap.

Sabrina Krasniqi and her husband had been living together for a while

Speaking to the New York Post on Saturday, November 30, Pajtim Krasniqi's family member Abi Gashi revealed that the pair had been living in Florida for around two years. Gashi stated that Pajtim earned a living through some stock-related job and that Sabrina Krasniqi was no longer working as a model.

While Sabrina's family were originally residents of the Balkan country, Pajtim's family lived in Peja, Kosovo before they immigrated to the US, as stated by the Daily Mail. Furthermore, Gashi expressed his grief by saying:

"I loved him like a brother. We had a connection like none other. He brightened up every room he was in. We're all still in shock, expecting him to walk in the door any minute."

According to WPLG Local 10, Sabrina Krasniqi was featured in many photographs throughout her career and even appeared on a motorcycle, wearing a bikini. As mentioned, she walked Times Square without wearing a mask in 2021 to help Inside Edition cover the problem of catcalling.

The outlet reported at the time that Sabrina was followed by a group of people with cameras and a man was spotted calling Sabrina beautiful when she walked by him.

Investigative correspondent Lisa Guerrero told the man that such things can intimidate women on the street and the latter responded by saying that he would like to apologize if Sabrina Krasniqi felt uncomfortable. On the other hand, Sabrina said at the time:

"It's kind of a disturbing feeling because I don't feel safe and I don't feel uncomfortable."

Family members address the incident on different platforms

The circumstances leading Sabrina Krasniqi to fire at her husband Pajtim Krasniqi are currently being investigated by the authorities. Abi Gashi also told the New York Post that he had no idea of what exactly happened between the duo, adding that Sabrina was slightly aggressive.

Pajtim's sister Albana shared a Facebook post around two days ago with a photo of her brother. The caption reads in part:

"The person he trusted the most, the person he chose to spend his life with was the one who took his away from him. She betrayed him, his love and his trust. She shattered my family. My siblings and I will never be the same. I'm terrified my mother will not ever recover."

Albana said that she had spoken with police officers and detectives about her brother's death, claiming that Sabrina Krasniqi was the one who reportedly shot Pajtim.

According to Daily Mail, Pajtim's family revealed in a statement that he refused to get his leg amputated and had to undergo several surgeries after a motorcycle accident that happened in 2018. The incident has been reportedly declared as a murder-suicide for now by the Hallandale Beach Police Department and further updates are awaited.
