A new hashtag about boycotting Dunkin Donuts, the popular American staple for coffee and baked goods, began trending on X on August 8. It appears that Chris Pavlovski, who founded the social media platform Rumble and is also its current Chief Executive Officer, made a tweet, which led boycotters to trend the hashtag.

Pavlovski claimed that Dunkin Donuts and the North American division of the beverage brand Diageo wanted Rumble to drop controversial conservative commentator Steven Crowder and distance itself from the "right wing culture" to avail ads revenue from these two companies.

But the CEO said he did not give in to the demand:

"My response: No, we don't discriminate. All cultures are welcome on Rumble."

Right-wing media host Steven Crowder who currently hosts his political podcast Louder With Crowder on Rumble, shifted the show on the platform from YouTube due to past controversies.

Official statements from Dunkin Donuts and Diageo North America are yet to arrive while the latter's Twitter account went private, supposedly due to the fiasco. Pavlovski's tweet soon triggered conservatives and MAGA supporters to start a boycott campaign against the coffee brand in unison.

Some mentioned Bud Light, referring to its 2023 boycott that set the conservative cancel culture of corporations, demanding Dunkin Donuts to receive equal "treatment".

It appears that the other half of the American crowd is siding with Dunkin Donuts and calling out MAGA devotees for resorting to cancel culture. However, they are also using #BoycottDunkinDonuts under their opposing tweets, contributing more to the hashtag's trending on X.

"Have you ever seen a boycott hashtag under “trending” and you already automatically know which crybaby a*s b**thes are doing the boycotting?...Same thing here lmao...#BoycottDunkinDonuts", wrote on X user.
"I got a Dunkin’ Donuts a block from my house. I’ve never tried though. Now I will just make MAGA cry #BoycottDunkinDonuts", another tweeted.
"In case you're wondering why #BoycottDunkinDonuts is trending, they stopped advertising on Rumble. So, @dunkindonuts made a decision they're allowed to make, and MAGA are throwing a fit. Get fvcked, crybabies", said another.
"I see #BoycottDunkinDonuts is trending and immediately know that it must be the largest group of victims, better known as maga, are offended by something...Do these snowflake Karen's ever stop crying? I guess all that losing is really getting to them", one X user called out.

Rumble CEO shares alleged emails from Dunkin Donuts regarding ad withdrawal

Chris Pavlovski shared two screenshots in addition to his tweet about Dunkin Donuts and Diageo, claiming the companies sent him emails stating their reasons for wanting to pull out ads from Rumble.

According to Pavlovski's post, a supposed Dunkin spokesperson wrote to him:

"I would be opposed to showing up on the current version of the platform — the right wing culture of the site is too polarizing from a brand suitability standpoint today."

Pavlovski censored some parts of the alleged statement from the coffee and baked goods chain. In Diageo's purported email to the Rumble CEO, the alcoholic beverage company wrote:

"Your team has reached out to me before and I've already expressed these concerns so I'd appreciate no further contact unless the nature of the content on your platform undergoes a dramatic shift."

A TMP manager at Diageo North America who sent the email as per the screenshot, continued:

"There is no scenario where we approve a platform that has Steven Crowder, Alex Jones, or the like."

The Diageo spokesperson further noted the type of content posted across Rumble falls under all the categories the brand tends to steer clear of.
