Greta Gerwig's upcoming film Barbie is currently the talk of the town. The film is set to clash with Christopher Nolan's upcoming project Oppenheimer and fans around the world are eager to see what both directors have in store for them. The attractive point of the movie is the huge ensemble cast which has grabbed the attention of the audience.

Talking about the cast, many would be shocked to know that during Barbie's development, multiple writers and directors were changed before settling with Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach. Not just the writers and directors, Hollywood top actresses Anne Hathaway and Amy Schumer were approached for the titular role.

However, things didn't work out and later the rights of the film were transferred to Warner Bros. Picture from Sony. Once done, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were chosen to play Barbie and Ken, and Grewig was announced as the director of the film.
