Rigo is one of the best pound-for-pound boxers today, and rightfully so. The man has overcome considerable adversity throughout his life, only to come out on top, much like he does in the ring.
He is now set to challenge fellow P4P elite pugilist Vasyl Lomachenko in December and I forsee a fight that is going to be a violent, bloody chess match.
Rigo is an excellent technician, but is not limited to merely playing the part of a chess master inside the boxing ring. Whenever the Cuban demolisher chooses to sit down on his punches, he more often than not breaks his opponent’s bones -- literally.
He’s as dangerous a strategist as he is a brawler. That brings me to a man quite similar to him…
