#2: We could see more of DDP on AEW in the next few weeks
Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) and Hangman Page faced off against each other in the squared circle this week.
As expected, MJF picked up the victory with a helpful assist from his sidekick, Wardlow.
Wardlow continues to be an important addition to MJF's act since the latter needs a muscle in his corner as an insurance policy.
Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) came out to hand the Dynamite Dozen Diamond Ring to MJF after his match, and as expected, DDP wasn't a fan of the young heel's antics either.
Both of them came to blows before Wardlow stepped in. Despite being a man of his age, DDP looked in amazing shape, and he didn't back down against the big man either.
For some reason, AEW hasn't directly pursued a hot program between MJF and Cody following Full Gear. While MJF continues to gather more heat every week, it looks like Cody might have to deal with Butcher and The Blade, who mysteriously attacked him last night.
It would make sense to shine a light on this new tag team (Butcher and The Blade), as fans need an explanation to why exactly they went after Cody.
In the meantime, DDP has unfinished business with MJF and Wardlow. If AEW intends to delay an obvious program between MJF and Cody, we could see DDP being included as an important part of AEW Programming in the next few weeks.
