#1: Jon Moxley vs. Chris Jericho is the big match everyone has been waiting for
It was clear that Jon Moxley vs. Chris Jericho would be the company's headlining act right when Moxley and Le Champion teased their face-off a couple of weeks ago, in a build-up to last night's episode.
Based on everything about Moxley in general, it's very obvious that he won't even consider joining The Inner Circle. This angle has been a wrestling trope for several decades, and it usually doesn't work when the character who is supposed to join the dark side is someone like Jon.
However, what gives this angle away, in the end, is that we know Jericho and Moxley will have a match with the World Title at stake down the road. Of course, Le Champion has to face Jack Perry first.
Jungle Boy is one of AEW's fastest rising stars, but it is too early for him to become the AEW World Champion. Maybe that's why Moxley's whole dilemma about whether or not he should join The Inner Circle will play out on Dynamite until Perry gets his spotlight.
But regardless of what happens, we know that 2020 will be a huge year for AEW, and Jericho will have to face Jon in an epic clash sooner than later.
