#3: Nyla Rose defeated Riho to become the new AEW Women's World Champion
Nyla Rose and Riho fought in a thoroughly engaging contest during the episode. Despite all of Riho's efforts, she just couldn't defeat Rose this time around.
In the end, Rose became the new AEW Women's World Champion. In hindsight, this title change was necessary amidst AEW's efforts in making their Women's Division relevant.
For months, there have been criticisms made towards how the AEW Women's Division doesn't feel like a big deal every week.
But with all due respect to Riho, Nyla Rose is a better candidate to lead the Women's Division at this point.
After the match, Rose went backstage and expected a full-blown celebration for her accomplishment. But her dominant status precedes over anything else and that is why Nyla Rose's backstage bit with Tony Khan, Kenny Omega and some top female contenders was one of the best highlights of the night.
More importantly, this forces AEW to build a top babyface who will eventually end the current champion's monstrous reign in the future.
