After The Young Bucks won the Battle Royal Match at the beginning of the show, it became obvious that "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega would retain their titles later on in the night.
A showdown between two important teams of The Elite seemed inevitable at this point.
But The Lucha Bros faced Omega & Page in one of the best Tag Team Matches we have seen in a while. Apart from the insanely fast-paced action and near-falls, Omega & Page's chemistry rarely faltered throughout the bout.
It can be quite easy to please an AEW Audience with high spots, but lately, you can make out which matches actually benefit from high spots instead of reaching an overkill point.
This particular matchup at hand benefited a lot from moving at a quicker pace than usual. To be fair, one wouldn't except anything less from a match featuring the likes of Kenny Omega, Rey Fenix, Pentagon Jr., and Adam Page.
