Cody's ability to evoke emotions from the audience as a babyface remains unparalleled in AEW right now.

The last segment of the night featured Cody making his way to the ring to receive 10 lashes from MJF as part of the stipulations laid down by the latter so that their match can take place at the Revolution Pay-Per-View,

Cody Rhodes displayed a bunch of convincing emotions throughout the entirety of this segment. Many of Cody's peers as well as his wife, Brandi, showed up at different instances to convey their support for him.

After it was all over, MJF got the last laugh and managed to escape after delivering a cheap shot to Cody despite being surrounded by so many wrestlers at the same time.

This storyline is meant to be the "heart" of what makes AEW special. Cody is one of the best babyfaces of our generation, and his ability to act with such conviction is perfectly mirrored with MJF's role as a modern-day "heat magnet".
