5 indie opponents we'd love to see for the newly christened Jon Moxley

For years now, Joey Janela has been one of the more overlooked performers on the indies, but with his Spring Break shows and appearance at All In, it's become clear that The Bad Boy is a genuine superstar.

Janela is a fantastic wrestler inside those ropes, but he excels as a hardcore performer, and from the trailer/return vignette that Moxley just dropped, it's clear he wants to go back to his death match roots.

Joey has now been signed by All Elite Wrestling, but it looks like he's still able to work on smaller independent shows for now, and if Jon were to be back before AEW's Double or Nothing, this match needs to happen.

Moxley to AEW has been rumoured for quite some time now, and this would be an incredible match for them to book, especially at Double or Nothing, but either way, this is the biggest match for Moxley upon return.
