Jerry "The King" Lawler
In 2010, Jerry Lawler was a few decades past his prime. "The King" was a broadcaster, and he hadn't been featured as a legitimate wrestler on WWE programming in a long time. He occasionally competed in short matches, but he was not a contender for a world title.

But this perception changed in 2010 when Lawler faced The Miz in a WWE Championship Match on WWE RAW. In this unexpected TLC Match, The Miz emerged victorious, but he had a little help from Alex Riley.
It's even more surprising that Lawler received another shot at the title. He later won a seven-man Rumble Match that featured stars like Sheamus, CM Punk, R-Truth, John Morrison, Randy Orton and John Cena. With the victory, Lawler earned another match against The Miz at WWE Elimination Chamber.
The Miz was the perfect cocky heel, and he played to Lawler’s weaknesses. The champion earned a lot of heat because he was beating up an old man who had recently lost his mother. The Miz wound up winning the match, but Lawler's run as a title contender remains memorable because nobody saw it coming.

While Edge was a despised villain for the majority of his first run with WWE, Zain loved his commitment to the character. He admired his ability to narrate a compelling story with his subtle moves and actions inside the ring. He believes no one in the business has come close to the Hall of Famer in terms of staying true to their on-screen gimmick.
If Zain were to book an eye-catching WWE angle, he would pit Cody Rhodes against CM Punk. Zain would have Rhodes highlight Punk’s hypocrisy in coming back to the global juggernaut. Their interaction would lead to Punk turning heel and engaging in a high-profile match with The American Nightmare at a Big Four Premium Live Event.
When not writing, Zain loves to read philosophy, play chess, where he has represented his country at the national level.
