#4 Never won at WrestleMania: William Regal
![William Regal is the current on camera head of NXT, and a former king of the ring... and has a terrible WrestleMania record](https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2019/02/1d0a6-15503841194850-800.jpg?w=190 190w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2019/02/1d0a6-15503841194850-800.jpg?w=720 720w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2019/02/1d0a6-15503841194850-800.jpg?w=640 640w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2019/02/1d0a6-15503841194850-800.jpg?w=1045 1045w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2019/02/1d0a6-15503841194850-800.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2019/02/1d0a6-15503841194850-800.jpg?w=1460 1460w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2019/02/1d0a6-15503841194850-800.jpg?w=1600 1600w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2019/02/1d0a6-15503841194850-800.jpg 1920w)
William Regal is quite possibly one of the most underrated pro wrestlers of all time. His smooth execution of technical moves, grinding mat wrestling, and pure toughness make him a well respected grappler backstage, even in retirement.
He had multiple title runs in WCW and WWE, and for a time was a solid mid card gatekeeper for both promotions. While William Regal never held any promotion's 'big belt,' he did rack up some impressive accolades.
However, one thing that William Regal has never done is win a match at WrestleMania. His record stands at a deplorable 0-6. His first loss came courtesy of Chris Jericho when he tried to win the Intercontinental title in the curtain jerker match. The following year, he was defeated by Rob Van Dam in yet another IC title match. The rest of his losses came in battle royals, where he was eliminated by such 'luminaries' as Gene Snitsky and Heidenreich. Ouch!
