While most fans know him primarily as the bodyguard of Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Michael Jones was actually an accomplished amateur wrestler and former American Wrestling Association International Heavyweight Champion and Southern Tag Team Champion (with partner Rocky Johnson, The Rock's father) under the name Soul Train Jones.
When he joined WWE, he was paired with Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase as his bodyguard. Since Virgil was built like a brick house, he fulfilled the role well... so well, in fact, that he hardly ever wrestled.
Eventually he would break off on his own, and suffered some deplorable gimmicks (Aunt Virgilina anyone?) but would only capture one WWE championship, the unsanctioned "million dollar title."
However, Virgil does have one major caveat on his WWE resume; He is undefeated at WrestleMania. His first victory was over his old boss, Ted DiBiase, and his second was as part of an eight man tag team match. Not bad, all things considered.
