AJ Lee was trained by none other than former Ring of Honor World Champion Jay Lethal, and as one might expect from one of his students, she is/was one of the most capable performers in the history of women's wrestling, despite her small size - she stands but five feet, two inches and barely weighs over one hundred pounds.
Overcoming a hard luck upbringing, AJ Lee would sign with the WWE just two years into her career, which is quite an accomplishment. She spent some time in their then-developmental league, Florida Championship Wrestling, before transitioning to the main roster.
AJ spent a lot of time in non-wrestling roles, usually as a valet or girlfriend of a WWE male superstar. She also spent some time as Raw General Manager, before beginning her career in earnest. AJ Lee was once the longest reigning WWE Divas Champion of all time, holding the now defunct belt for over a year.
These days she's retired, living with husband CM Punk, but she did manage to rack up two WrestleMania wins and no losses. One win was at Vickie Guerrero's Divas invitational, and the other was a tag team victory over the Bella Twins.
