5 Wrestlers All Elite Wrestling should sign before the end of 2020

While AEW have mentioned that they aren't looking to bring in much more new talent, their roster has plenty of room for growth, and over the next year, we will definitely see plenty of new faces in All Elite. While there is plenty of talent throughout the roster, if the company is to become a force in professional wrestling, they will need some bigger stars, and with other performers out in the wrestling industry, there are plenty of options out there.

The Women's Division definitely needs improvement, and with the company looking to make their mark, they need an infusion of new talent every now and then, so with all that in mind here are five wrestlers All Elite Wrestling should sign before 2020 comes to an end.

#5 Flip Gordon

ROH star Flip Gordon
ROH star Flip Gordon

Flip Gordon has been connected to the stars of Bullet Club and The Elite since he entered the professional wrestling business, and once his Ring of Honor contract is up, AEW is the logical move for Flip. Gordon is one of the most naturally athletic competitors the wrestling business has ever seen, and with the new attitude he's taken up alongside Marty Scurll, he's become a well-rounded performer.

With the story he built with Cody for years, culminating in a huge moment at All In, Flip is perfect for All Elite Wrestling, and a rise through the ranks as a top babyface would be amazing. On the other hand, much like 'The Villain,' Flip was left behind by the guys of AEW, and with his recent mean streak in ROH, Flip could be a great bad guy, and has the potential to be one of the top AEW heels alongside MJF and Chris Jericho. Either way, this move makes sense for both parties, and would make this roster one of the deepest and most talented in all of professional wrestling.

#4 Jordynne Grace

Women's wrestling has come a long way in the past few years, but not just in WWE, as Impact continues to use several outstanding women, one being the powerhouse Jordynne Grace. Not only does Grace have a great, unique look, but she works uniquely in the ring, and if AEW could creatively get behind her, she could be someone to match up against the likes of Awesome Kong.

The AEW Women's Division isn't nearly as bad as some online make it out to be, but a recognizable face to indie wrestling fans could help grow the division further, and there's none with more raw, pure potential than 'Thick Mumma Pump.' We know that the AEW crew are high on her, as she appeared at the All In Battle Royal in 2018, and was given plenty of time to shine, so it only makes sense for both sides to rekindle that relationship.

#3 Brian Cage

Brian Cage

When you think of the prototypical champion in wrestling, he would likely look like Brian Cage, so when you combine that with insane amounts of athleticism, you have someone ready to take over the worldwide wrestling stage. Cage even teased a dream match with AEW EVP Kenny Omega recently on social media, and given how much 'The Machine' has come into his own over the past few years, it's one that everyone should want to see.

Cage is still under contract with Impact, but when his current deal expires, he should be brought into AEW immediately, as he has the ability to be the #1 star in a company still on the rise. One big complaint about AEW has been the lack of size in the main event scene, so Cage could fix that problem immediately, while also providing incredible in-ring work, making him the perfect star to join All Elite Wrestling.

#2 Marty Scurll

'The Villain'
'The Villain'

This is the most obvious one on the list, and given how close Marty Scurll was to The Elite and how vital he was to their success, it is all but a guarantee that 'The Villain' will be AEW bound, potentially by the end of 2019. With a fantastic character and a unique look, Scurll may get lost in the shuffle in WWE (who he is also reportedly talking too), but given everything we've seen from 'The Villain,' he'll likely be joining AEW.

Given how his friends left him behind, it's entirely possible that The Inner Circle may look to bring Marty in, but it's being set up on Being the Elite that a certain 'Villain' will be the one to save The Elite. Whatever happens, Marty is a world class performer capable of being a top babyface or heel, and that's the kind of talent that AEW needs, so don't be shocked if we see Marty on Dynamite in the next several weeks.

#1 Tessa Blanchard

Tessa Blanchard

It's no secret that the All Elite Wrestling Women's Division has been its weakest link so far, but if the company could secure the signature of Tessa Blanchard, it would instantly become must see. The daughter of current AEW manager Tully Blanchard, Tessa has quickly become one of the best female wrestlers on the planet - if not the very best. When her contract with Impact is up, the opportunity to be the face of an entire company may be too much for her to pass up.

Tessa has the look, pedigree, charisma, athleticism and in-ring talent to be one of the best wrestlers of all time, and with plenty of talent currently in the division, she could spearhead a great movement for AEW. With all this stated, WWE will no doubt be interested in her too, but AEW is the best spot for her, as she would be given much more time to lead the division. If anyone is a must sign for AEW, it's 'The Diamond of Professional Wrestling.'
